Beginner's Luck Steppers Contest!

1. Contestant is a new Stepper between 0 and 1 year of learning the basics of Steppin’
2. Students are encouraged to attend Darnell Brown, Skipp the Jazz Stepper classes.
3. Students will dance with Seasoned Steppers during the competition.
4. Audience will decide winner.
5. Contestants will be judged on:
• Steppin’ Basics • Steppin’ Attire • Steppin’ Style • Steppin’ Etiquette
6. Contestants will dance to 3 Chicago Style Steppers cuts (a combination of slow and mid tempo music).
7. Contestants will change Steppin' partners as told during Contest within the 3 songs described in (6).
8. Contestants will showcase their Steppin’ abilities by themselves in a fun 30 second round with other contestants.
9. Contest winner awarded $100

Join Tim Seay's Steppin' Friends, Darnell Brown and James 'Skipp Skiffer in weekly Steppin' classes around the Valley. Participants should
attend instructors classes during the week for instruction and fun. Also join Angie Faine for instruction at the NCSSD Workshops (TBD)!!
